Notices
Sidebar → Settings → Notices.
Announcements from the BitCommerz team to you — maintenance windows, new features, policy changes, billing notes.
What it is not
This is not your customers’ messages, and not order notifications.
Three different things are easy to confuse:
| You want | Go to |
|---|---|
| Announcements from BitCommerz | Notices — this page |
| Alerts about your own shop’s activity | The bell icon in the top bar |
| Messages from a customer about an order | The notes thread on the order |
Reading the list
Four columns: Title, Message, Type and Date. Long messages are cut short in the table.
Type groups notices — maintenance, billing, product news and so on — using whatever labels the BitCommerz team applied.
Newer notices are on the first page, with page arrows at the bottom when there are more.
Two things worth knowing
There is no read or unread state. Nothing is marked when you open a notice, nothing goes bold, and no badge counts them. Whether you have seen something is not tracked, so if a notice matters, act on it there and then — you will not get a second prompt.
You cannot delete or archive a notice. The list only grows. Nothing is expected of you here beyond reading.
When to check it
Worth a look if:
- Something in the dashboard behaves differently than you remember
- You are told about scheduled maintenance
- Billing or your plan changed unexpectedly — cross-check with Billing
Otherwise there is no routine reason to visit.
Common problems
“No notices yet.” Nothing has been published to your shop. That is normal — many shops never see a notice.
“An error instead of the list.” Press Retry. If it persists, the notices service is down rather than your shop; nothing else is affected.
“I saw a notice and cannot find it again.” There is no search and no filter. Page back through the list — they are in date order, newest first.
